I've been steadily working on my next novel inspired by Practical Magic, Charmed, and True Blood. It's whimsi-goth, it's fun, and a much-needed palate cleanser from Ballad.
Here's the blurb!
The magic of her bloodline is as ancient as the Scottish myths Lunette Crowe grew up with. Yet, no one in the family Crowe has ever broken the curse that befell them in the year 1862.
Lunette has lived in the historic Hotel Crowe with her aunt and two sisters her whole life. The hotel, passed down through her family for generations in Savannah, Georgia, is known as a haunted attraction in the area.
Though, what the public doesn't know is that the Crowe family are multigenerational witches and they, along with their home, are cursed twofold.
One, the soulmate of a Crowe woman will meet a most gruesome death, where she will soon follow; and two, once a member of the family dies…they never leave their home. Forever are the Crowe women stuck in eternal longing for peace and to be reunited with the love of their lives.
However, Lunette has vowed that she will never put herself in a position to meet her soulmate.
But fate has other plans when a mysterious stranger from Louisiana checks into Hotel Crowe as a new church opens its doors across the street.
Okay, so ready for the covers?!
My paperback cover design was done by Lisa Errico, who goes by littleforestcat_ on her socials! I can't recommend her enough. She really captured the vision I had for Crowe beautifully.
The hardback cover design was done by JV Arts, who goes by jv.arts.2020 on social media. This was actually a beautiful premade that I fell in love with because it fit the more whimsical vibes that Crowe has.
Together, these two covers encompass that whimsi-goth vibe I'm going for in this book. I'm so incredibly happy and hope you like the covers too!
Love,
Adri
